Why We Built 2050

Our Back-Story

We created 2050 Communications because we believe that sourcing IT services should be smarter, more transparent, and aligned with customer needs at any point in their journey.  So we didn't start with vendor commission plans. We didn't start with products. We started with YOU. 


The Challenges We Saw:

* Vendors don't LISTEN to UNDERSTAND

* Vendor pricing was opaque

* Staffing felt transactional, not strategic

* No budget (for using recruiters, replacing legacy systems, modernizing, enhancing security, etc.)

* Post-sale service and support was handed off -- or dropped entirely

* Integration and deployment was left to chance

*  Sourcing services was complicated, time-consuming, and often costly


We believed there was a better way.


We whiteboarded every step of the buyer experience -- and redesigned it:

* We made pricing fairer via our Engage-to-Earn model

* We created creative, customizable pricing options to free up budgets

* We made hiring flexible -- by offering contract, contingent, and hourly recruiting options under a Statement of Work

* We made our support ongoing -- we don't disappear after the deal is signed

We thought: "What would the client want if they could write the playbook?" Then we built that.

What if we could provide clients with a short list of vetted vendor options ONLY when the client wanted it, and otherwise protect their time from endless solicitation and "just following up"s?
